Over a three year period, a third Scent&Sense collection found its way to the light. A collection of all unique and handmade lights, inspired by one of the hummingbird’s favorite nectar supply, the fuchsia flower.
“Each flower opens in her own due time.”
Each co-creation combines the finest Moroccan traditional handcrafts. Each light integrates the masculine traditions with the hand-worked brass and the feminine traditions with hand embroidery, takshita fabrics, and sfifa finishes. A takshita is a Moroccan traditional women’s garment that, like the Moroccan caftan, is worn for celebrations, particularly weddings.
The design allows the lights to be shaped differently from time to time. To further personalize a light, different options are available for the inside and today, many different lightbulbs are widely available as well.
“Each light serves in the most practical and decorative way to remember ourselves of nature, just by turning on the light.” – Steven Pauwels.
