We all co-create & shape our experiences through life by the choices we make. This simple fact made me question my choices because, at some point in my life, my life’s experiences got overshadowed by deep sadness & anger. I just couldn’t trace these emotions to any of the choices I made.
Living in a center for personal development & self-discovery, I found myself in the perfect place at the perfect time to explore & find out. It took several years to inform myself properly & some more to actually manifest my newly made choices into actions.
Making new choices is easier said than done, especially when it concerns matters of the heart. Around our heart or our beingness, if you wish, we created different layers of protection & rightfully so. Different shapes & flavors of conditioned love are very much part of that. Making new choices in this realm requires courage & above all trust.
We often lost our trust but don’t realize that we are also responsible for that. We so often know the truth, but fail to express it & even lie. We so often say something but don’t match our actions. We all have valid reasons, but our heart doesn’t work that way.
We created so many different strategies to protect us from feeling what is truly happening inside. Remaining ignorant & being stuck in desires have always been my favorite ones. Although we feel less pain & are well rewarded to just live in our minds, we also blinded ourselves from the potential life has to offer.
” I was too easily pleased with a little sunshine from time to time.”
For as long as we remain unconscious, our behaviors & life’s experiences are determined by the conditioning of our past. Some of these conditionings go back millions of years & have allowed us to survive. Others are part of our family tree & we all carry along the conditioning of our own childhood. It is a universal truth of our human nature.
That the past includes a vast amount of suffering, goes without saying. It is a natural process to protect ourselves from that. But at some point in our lives, we are presented with a different choice were remaining ignorant is no longer an option.
We don’t have to wait to get invited to make different choices. These invitations can be unpleasant & even painful. We have the choice to courtship our selves to the dance floor of life by engaging with our potential. We have the choice to eliminate much unnecessary suffering, for ourselves & all of our children. They are the ones that will be living in the world we leave behind.
By informing ourselves about the basic understanding of our human & creative nature, we are able to unwrap the precious gifts we were granted equally. Making the choice to explore & manifest our potential is definitely not the most evident choice one can make for themselves. It comes with responsibility & feeling all of what we covered up inside.
On the other hand, if we truly want to discover & live our dream, if we want to restore trust & encourage others to do the same. If we want our climate to change for the better & be truthful to our nature, it is the only choice.
Manifesting our potential is the most courageous & noble act life has to offer. Life represents the potential of all possibilities & we are the ones who can manifest.
Each moment we have a choice to make it more divine,… or not !
